With visual journal in hand...
I am interested in nature, history, family, friends, Yoga, backyard chickens and house rabbits. I am passionate about teaching, love to travel and learn about the people and places I encounter. I pay close attention to what I eat, how I speak and I love to laugh!
My Many Mediums
As an idea driven artist, my art takes many forms. I work with watercolor, printmaking, ceramic sculpture, mixed media, installation, video and even live insects to make my ideas visible. My visual journal is my constant companion, capturing inspiration & notes on life and giving me a place to play and stay grounded.
My Inspiration
My inspiration is my life. I make artwork responding to nature, including the urban landscape where I live. My husband, offspring and bunnies and chickens give me endless motivation to live my life well.
